My husband found out I was drawing pictures and told me I should download GIMP. Right now I have almost zero idea of what I'm doing with it, but it looks like I'll be able to do a lot of neat stuff. Eventually. Salvaging pictures with terrible quality should give me some practice with the basics. If nothing else, I'm sure I can find a tutorial online somewhere!
Oh, be warned. Several of my friends ganged up on me and demanded more dorky comics. I was unable to distract their attention with my Longham, and so am resigned to making at least a few more. Sorry in advance.
